Special Interest Group (SIG) Page of the
Albuquerque Genealogical Society





SIG's (Special Interest Groups) primarily focus on using a specific Computer Genealogy Program or concentrate in Genealogical Research in specific countries.


All attendance is free and your contribution to the SIG is greatly encouraged.



Ancestral Quest (AQ) Genealogy Program SIG:

Family Tree Maker (FTM) Genealogy Program SIG:

Legacy Genealogy Program SIG:

MAC/Reunion Genealogy Program SIG

Roots Magic Genealogy Program SIG

Irish Research Group

Meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM in the New Mexicana Room at the Special Collections Library.  For more information, contact Elaine Armstrong (or consult your Membership Directory for telephone contacts).





Eastern Frontier Research Group

This group specializes in research in the Eastern Central(present day) States of NC,TN, VA,KY, WV, IL, IN, OH, PA, DE, MD, NJ, and NY.

Military and Land Records Research Group

This group has presentations and discussions on finding and using military and land records in your genealogical research.

Central and Eastern Europe Research Group

Members of AGS who are researching Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, German Austria, Russia, or other nearby countries are most welcome to join this group.
